Joseph (Joe) Valickus ’09 is a Managing Director and Associate Portfolio Manager at One William Street Capital Management in New York, where he specializes in asset-based financings, with a current focus across digital and artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure.

Joe has over 15 years of experience in private credit and opportunistic asset-based investing. His expertise spans the origination, structuring, underwriting, and management of complex credit and select equity investments. Throughout his career, he has executed numerous financings across the Americas and the Asia-Pacific region, serving as the deal lead on many of his more than 25 tailored transactions totaling over $5 billion.

In addition to his institutional finance career, Joe previously spent two years working at a startup and advising early-stage ventures. This experience directly informs his current role as a minority investor in several early- and mid-stage businesses.
