Kasey C. Piper ’25 is a Bucknell University Chemical Engineering graduate and Associate Scientist, Engineering in Pharmaceutical Commercialization Technology at Merck. In her role, she supports process development and scale-up for small-molecule oral solid dosage forms, including tablets and capsules. During her first year, she completed a rotation in a pilot plant facility, where she rapidly developed expertise in tablet manufacturing and gained hands-on experience assembling, operating, and troubleshooting common unit operations involved in the process.
